The questions we hear most from office managers and owners, answered the same way our contracts read.
Bytewillow Logic LLC is an IT solutions provider for small and midsize offices. We run five service lines: Managed IT Care (a monthly per-user subscription covering monitoring, patching, antivirus/EDR management, helpdesk, and backup monitoring), Cloud Migration & Management, Network & Infrastructure, Security Hardening, and Data Backup & Recovery. Managed work is subscription-based; project work is fixed-quote and written down before it starts.
Offices and professional services firms with 5 to 200 employees — law offices, accounting firms, medical billing companies, and similar organizations. We are a fit when you depend on IT daily but do not need a full-time systems administrator on payroll.
Managed plans are billed monthly in advance, per user seat. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice. There is no cancellation fee.
Project work is quoted in a written proposal before any work begins. Projects are billed 50% to start and 50% on acceptance, or by milestone where agreed in the proposal.
All payments are collected by business invoice issued by Bytewillow Logic LLC. We accept ACH and card payments, processed by Stripe. We provide services only: no physical goods are shipped, and there are no shipping or handling fees.
Managed service fees already invoiced for the current month are non-refundable, because the service time is scheduled. Prepayments for project work that has not yet started are refundable in full. The same terms appear in our service agreements and on our Pricing page.
On Office Care and Suite Care plans, helpdesk requests receive a response within 4 business hours — business hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm ET. Sprout Care receives email support during business hours on a best-effort queue. Quote requests and contact form messages are answered within 1 business day.
No. Managed plans are monthly agreements that renew monthly until cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Projects are one-off engagements governed by their written proposals.
Yes, with one boundary: fully remote managed services (monitoring, patching, helpdesk, backup monitoring, cloud management) are available to clients anywhere in the United States. On-site work — network cabling coordination, hardware installs, and the Suite Care on-site allowance — is limited to Kentucky and nearby surrounding areas.
Access is minimized: we touch only the systems and accounts needed to deliver the service, under confidentiality obligations in every service agreement. Backup repositories are encrypted, admin credentials are held in a documented escrow, and access is revoked and certified at the end of an engagement. Our Privacy Policy describes the roles in more detail.
Service runs to the end of your 30-day notice period, and the final invoice is prorated to that date. We hand over documentation, export a list of credentials and configurations we managed, and remove our agents and access. You keep everything that is yours, including your data and your documentation.
For billing questions or disputes, email billing@bytewillow.com. We respond within 2 business days. Service continues without interruption while a billing dispute is being resolved.
